Photographer/Model Social Weekend

January 15th and 16th 2005 - Coochiemuddlo Island * - on Moreton Bay - Near Brisbane

We try to hold this style of event at least every six months to encourage Models, Photographers and other Support people to get together for a weekend of socialising and networking. These events are open not just for those with connection to the Clubmodpics facility, but to all those in the industry that are interested in developing greater professional relationships in the photography and modelling industries.

This event was held on a small Island just a couple of minutes ferry trip from the mainland, giving easy access to those that wished to attend. Saturday on the beach was quite windy and offered a few challenges, while Sunday was sunny and warm with glass like water just the right temperature for swimming. Clubmodpics rented a house in the middle of the island for those that wanted to stay over and attend the BBQ dinner on the Saturday night.

As you can tell from the photographs below it was a fun and friendly weekend for those that attended. The secluded beaches and magnificent views of sparkling Moreton Bay makes Coochie a very special destination. The island is small enough to walk or cycle around, and is a delight to explore. The area is popular for windsurfing, sailing, swimming and paddle boats.
